- There is a precaution for this method. First, you must make sure that after disabling the airplane mode on your phone, you do not open WhatsApp until you want to actually reply to the message because it will lead to the appearance of the blue ticks.

This is probably the easiest one to follow. WhatsApp itself has provided the read recipient modification option through which you can control whether the sender can know about the read status. Here is the simple process to get it done:-
- First, open WhatsApp on your device and tap on the three-dot icon that you will find on the right topmost corner of the screen
- Now a drop-down menu will appear, tap on the “Settings” option. A menu appears again, from there tap on the option “ Accounts” and then on the option “Privacy”.
- When you tap on the “Privacy” option, a list appears. Keep scrolling until you reach the “Read Recipients” option. Now uncheck the checkbox that lies next to it.
Now, you can open WhatsApp Messenger and read any message without letting the sender know about it. It is an inherent system from WhatsApp and is really helpful. However, you should also know that, when you disable the read recipient from your device, you will also not be able to see the read status of the messages that you send to others.
Method: 3
This method involves the use of third-party applications or software to achieve the objective. There are certain limitations of both processes mentioned above and if you want to be free of them, then you can definitely go for this process. There is always a risk of data breach and privacy leakage when using any such app. Hence, make it a point to go through the authentication details before you install and use such applications.
