- In the lower left-hand corner of the home page, click the profile symbol.
- In the upper left-hand corner, click the settings cog.
- Select ‘Snooze Mode’ from the drop-down menu.
- From the menu, select 24 hours, 72 hours, one week, or indefinitely.
- Select one of the following options from the drop-down menu: I’m traveling, I’m focused on work, I’m on a digital detox, I’m prioritizing myself.
When you enable the snooze feature, your profile will be hidden from potential matches. Matches will be notified that you’re back online once it’s enabled. To turn off the feature, simply follow the same steps but select ‘Deactivate snooze mode.’ The snooze option’s only goal is to offer users a respite from the continual urge to communicate with others, which benefits Bumble’s mental health.
Bumble is a little different from other dating apps, but it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Although it may be uncomfortable at times, many would argue that it is preferable to keep one’s activities hidden if at all feasible.
