WhatsApp is, without a doubt, the most widely used messaging app on the planet. The messaging platform has almost completely supplanted SMS as the primary mode of communication. The app contains a slew of new features that improve convenience and make it easy to do more than just send text messages. The app is feature-rich, whether it’s the WhatsApp Status feature, video calling, voice calling, or sharing numerous photographs and videos to your buddies.
However, one feature, in particular, the delete message feature, has gotten a lot of attention. This allows you to erase messages that have been sent to the recipient, and no one will be able to read them once they have been deleted. There is currently no formal means to view the deleted message. But what if we told you that you can view deleted WhatsApp messages?
A Spanish tech site uncovered a means to access or recover texts deleted by the other party in a WhatsApp conversation. It claims that if an incoming message created a notice on the phone, it can be recovered from the Android handset’s notification record. However, if no notice was created, i.e., if you kept the conversation open or active when the message arrived, this will not work.
How to Read Whatsapp Messages Deleted by Sender
Those deleted messages can be viewed in two to three different ways. The first way is, go to the Google Play Store and download the Notification History app. After you’ve installed the app, open it and look for the WhatsApp icon to see your messages.
The second option is to manually enter the notification log. Select widgets by long pressing on your home screen. Scroll down until you come across the settings widget. Make a shortcut to that on your home screen. Select Notification log from the menu of choices that appears. This setting widget will now take you directly to your notification history. You can see all of your notifications after you open the notification log. To be clear, opening a notice here will display all of the notification’s complex details, not simply the text. The settings widget is already added to the home screen of phones running ‘pure’ Android, such as Moto and Pixel phones, and from there you can access the notification registry. According to reports, these methods are only compatible with Android 6 (Marshmallow) and higher.
One can even download the third application called WhatsRemoved+. Which can help you to read deleted messages on WhatsApp. Kindly follow mentioned below steps to install the application and for further guidance.
- Install the WhatsRemoved+ app on your Android smartphone by going to the Google Play Store and searching for it.
- Give the app the necessary permissions. After that, you’ll be asked to choose which app you wish to save notifications or detect changes for.
- Select WhatsApp from the drop-down menu and press Next. You’ll notice a Save Files option; select it and follow the on-screen directions.
Once you’ve completed the setup, the app will save all of your WhatsApp alerts, including those that you’ve removed. You can go to the WhatsRemoved+ app and click on WhatsApp to read deleted texts if someone deletes a message.
