If they click on it, the IP address gets notified in the applications’ database which you can access easily.
The most popular IP logger is Grabify IP logger and URL Shortener. URL Shortener’s job is to shorten the URL to make it trustworthy, which you need to use to track the IP address.
Let’s get to know about the steps:
You need to choose a URL, either of a web page or video or music, that the person must be interested in. Copy the URL and go to the Grabify official website. At Grabify’s home page you will see a blank box “Enter a valid URL or tracking code” paste the copied URL.
Here just below that, you will get two buttons — “Create URL” and “Tracking code”. You need to click on “Create URL” to proceed. This will shorten the URL, which you can use as bait.
